Work Timestamp
week 1 - 29.03.22 - Start on Level 3 FMP project in maker space session.
Week 1 - Within our first week of our final project we had learned about the many different types of documentaries as well as creating our mind maps and mood boards.
Week 2 - In our second week, we started creating our pitch presentation to showcase our ideas to the tutor so that our projects can be green-lighted. We were also given practical work to do for the project using Adobe After Effects to create and edit the work in. Another one of the tasks was some homework to watch a documentary and break it down by answering the questions that were given to us on a word document related to the documentary.
Week 3 - After the easter holiday I did my pitch presentation for my project and was given the green light to start pre-production, the presentation was recorded and uploaded onto YouTube unlisted and was linked in my pre-production tab in my blog. I also sent my tutor my FMP blog link to view. I have currently created a word document with all the questions that I will be asking to my interviewee's which I have contacted and are ready once I have completed the question sheet (the sheet currently has 15 questions). UPDATE: I have created a list of music that I will possibly be using within the documentary as well as properly crediting the original composers.
Week 4 - This week I have been creating a script for my FMP documentary as well as doing some research on the subject. What I've researched so far have been who Hideo Kojima is, The FOX Engine and what is Metal Gear Solid V?
Week 5 - I am reviewing a documentary styled video that talks about the same topic that I will be covering so that I may get a general idea on how to structure my FMP. I am also filing out a production schedule for my documentary. Also updating my research for the topic.
Week 6 - I began recording some gameplay footage for the documentary. I have also recorded my interview which will be featured in the video, I also have an audio recording of the interviewee giving full permission to be in the documentary before said interview. On the side I was doing extra research that I needed for the interview as well.
Week 7 - I began editing my FMP video which took two and a half days to complete from start to finish. I also did my Evaluation for the project in as depth as I could do and giving my opinion on the project that I had done. I also completed my production schedule and documentary reviews. This marks the end of the work timestamp for this project hopefully.
