Pre-Production

To begin with the pre-production I'll start off with what I have thought for my first two documentary Ideas:

 The first Idea was to talk about a game called Metal Gear Solid V and how it's one of the best games I have ever played despite the story never being fully complete as well as talk about all the hidden details and intriguing things within the game.

 The Second idea was to talk about the whole entirety of the history of the Metal Gear Series but this would prove to be quite a huge task as the history within the series would require me to also talk about real life events and I would be looking at having to research all the major events in history that happened between 1964 all the way to 2014.

I also created a MindMup2 Mind map for this documentary project to show my basic ideas on what I could talk about.

Documentary Treatment

I have created a treatment documentary that showcases what I will be working on as well as detailing how I will be accomplish this, what is it's selling point and who will be helping me with the project to ensure that I reach this goal.

Mood Board

The Idea I have chosen to do for this documentary is to talk about the game known as Metal Gear Solid V. I will be creating a Mood Board for this documentary to give a general idea for what I will be planning for this video,  which will be quite easy as I am very passionate about this game.

Pitch Presentation

1.4.22 - I created a Powerpoint presentation which will be for when I present my documentary idea to my tutor. This  presentation contains about seven pages, the first being the introduction page with three pages being what, how and why along with a page briefly talking about the projects viability and to finish it off, a page with a brief list of equipment needed as well as a conclusion page that finishes off asking if there is any questions.

I also have filled out a feedback sheet for how my pitch presentation went and uploaded it onto my website.

Interview Questions

I have created a Word document containing up to 15 questions that I will be using for my documentary interviews. The minimum requirement was 10 questions but I went for a few more to get some extra variety to choose from when I get round to editing the documentary.

Script

I have also created a script that I will be using for the voice over sections within the final major project documentary. The script will be in a word document format and I will be regularly editing it until it is up to a standard that I find will be best for the recording session. Once I've made a finished version I'm happy with, I will upload it onto my webnode as part of my pre-production. Edit: This is the initial script I was planning to use but I later scrapped the idea of using one in the end, instead I used the script as reference for my improvised Voice over.

Production Schedule

Here is my production schedule for my FMP project. inside shows the project separated into tasks with each one having a handful of tasks along with where I did the work and the duration of that task.
